Description

From Kavalan's Peatist series, this single malt is distilled from lightly peated malt and matured in a single American ex-bourbon cask, then bottled at full cask strength. It's the softer, brighter side of the Peatist range – creamy vanilla and tropical fruit carrying a gentle thread of smoke.

Tasting Notes

Nose: A wisp of peat opening onto mango, banana and longan, with coconut cream, vanilla and honey.
Palate: Smooth and creamy – vanilla butter cake, sweet tropical fruit, warm oak and coconut, with smoke building quietly underneath.
Finish: Long and silky, with vanilla custard and soft smoke.
