Clase Azul Añejo, also known as “Edición Indígena-Mazahua” (Mazahua Edition) due to the bottle design’s tribute to the culture, is an ultra- premium añejo tequila made from Tequilana Weber Blue Agave. Its intense amber color and layered aromas are a result of an extended period of aging. COLOR: Intense amber BODY: The viscous body shows off a delicate, yet balanced mouth-feel. AROMA: The nose is layered with aromas of Mexican vanilla, cinnamon, apples and almonds and surrounded by caramel aromas from the slow-cooked agave. TASTE: Cooked agave flavors with touches of vanilla, caramel, and various woods through the finish.

Our Añejo is a marriage of very old tequila aged in French limousine and nevers casks that previously held wines. It is deep and complex with dried fruits and spice elements like cardamom and allspice which complement elegantly the right touch of sweetness that comes from slowly cooked mature agave. Honey and caramelised nuts emerge from a long finish together with refreshing light menthol. Great to wrap up a nice dinner.

A regal take on what many consider to be an essentially rustic distillate, Don Amado Añejo shows amazing complexity beyond simple smoke, and is a great example how barrel flavors can complement rather than mask agave’s wild charms. Savory, mesquite aromas hint at barbecue and toasted cayenne pepper, while flavors flow between layers of baked stonefruit from the brandy barrel aging. Palate continues in similar form with notes of grilled pineapple, and the finish shows a long, bright and refreshing saline minerality.
