Handcrafted Kentucky Straight Bourbon using time-honored methods in the art of distillation and using only limestone spring water, carefully selected grains, and secret strains of yeast. Aged in new white oak casks until fully mature and then bottled by hand in a beautiful pot still-shaped bottle that is hand-numbered.

Ingredients

45ml Bourbon This bottle
30ml Bitter aperitivo Shop bitter aperitivo
30ml Sweet vermouth Shop sweet vermouth

How to make it

Stir the bourbon, bitter aperitivo and sweet vermouth with ice for 20 seconds.
Strain over a large ice cube.
Garnish with orange peel.

Old Fashioned

Ingredients

60ml Bourbon This bottle
5ml Sugar syrup
5ml Amargo-Vallet bitters Shop amargo-vallet bitters

How to make it

Stir the bourbon, sugar syrup and Amargo-Vallet with ice in a mixing glass.
Strain over a large ice cube.
Express orange peel over the top and drop it in.

Whisky Sour

Ingredients

45ml Bourbon This bottle
25ml Fresh lemon juice
20ml Sugar syrup
20ml Egg white (optional)

How to make it

Shake the bourbon, lemon juice, sugar syrup and egg white without ice.
Add ice and shake again hard.
Strain over fresh ice and garnish with a lemon wheel.

Willett Distillery was established in 1936 by Thompson Willett, but the family’s whiskey legacy began long before.

Thanks to his father and grandfather, Thompson held a deep knowledge and respect for the craftsmanship involved in making fine whiskeys: Use the best ingredients available, pay close attention to the details – then take a step back and give the whiskey time and space to develop character.

It’s a simple approach, but it seems to be working. Willett Distillery, also known as Kentucky Bourbon Distillers (KBD), Ltd., is a private family-owned and -operated company that produces various brands of bourbon and rye whiskey. Most brands produced by the company are in the premium category and range from 6 to 17 years of aging maturity, with some of its bottlings being aged as long as 25 years.
