Also, a very interesting maturation in damp humid cellar: the 48% is \"uncut\" cask strength. From this mash bill and ageing (6 years for the record), you get a pronounced whiskey. Dense, dark aromas are evident on the nose. Yum. A first sip gives you caramel, cacao. Very happy. The most remarkable trait is the long smooth finish: with no dilution at 48%, this is a wonderful dram for beginners and connoisseurs alike.
