About Spirits of France

Spirits of France is an online shop designed to supply private retail customers, but it is directly linked to Cerbaco Distribution, a trade company which has established its reputation for more than 25 years with the best restaurants and bars around Australia.

This online shopping website has been created to give the opportunity to these customers who have tasted, seen these products on the shelves of these beautiful places and not known to purchase them, to buy them Online. Actually our products are distributed in the best wine cellars in Australia, but they are few and far between. (See the list on www.cerbaco.com.au/Cerbaco%20Distributors.pdf).

About Cerbaco

For over 25 years, Cerbaco Distribution has restricted itself to the "non commercial", "confidential" spirits & liqueurs, which you find only in the best restaurants and bars in France, Europe,, the so-called 1,2,3 stars. The authenticity of barrel ageing, which guarantees the higher concentration and diversity or aromatics, is the main principle behind the superior quality of our complex aged spirits.

As often is the case for wine, great spirits are made and raised by small producers, imparting personality and diversity to the end product.
Their price reflects the principle of true quality to be neither cheap nor expensive. At most their aspect is sober, for what matters is the content.

Our Armagnacs, Cognacs, Calvados, Eaux de Vie, Liqueurs, Aperitifs, Rums Agricoles are those semi confidential products on the cartes of the very best restaurants and bars of France, whether expensive or relatively modest. Accordingly in Australia the great majority of good restaurants, a fairly large gastronomic elite, relish their authenticity of age and maturation, the specificity of characters related to precise origin, their astonishing and lasting beauty compared to commercial stereotypes.

In the past, we have been lucky to know directly and indirectly the great restaurants of France and their chefs/Owners who together, with the Sommelier involve themselves in the search for great wines and great spirits and we have gratefully followed their advice.
