Cognac Frederic Mestreau

Frederic Mestreau was founded in 1808 in Saintes. This merchant was well-known for the high quality cognac as for his opposition to Louis Napoleon. It was who proclaimed the French Republic from La Rochelle city in 1870.

This however, did not interfere with the development of his business activities. Mestreau Cognacs were highly sought after in England and America, as well in Russia, where they were supplied to the Court of Czar Nicholas II.

Today, Mestreau cognacs are one again available thanks to the discovery of stocks from the personal reserve of Mr Mestreau. In keeping with the spirit of linking "one revolution to another" they now propose the unique collection of cognacs.
